Doris was a beloved wife of 62 years and an outstanding mother of six girls. She worked as a labor and delivery aid at Belleville Memorial Hospital for 32 years.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Riley; a grandson, Brandan Kracht; her parents, Joe and Gladys, nee Humphrey, Hollis; two sisters, Jeanette, and Charlotte; three sons-in-law, Donald McCracken, George Kiefer, and Doug Kalagian; and a step-brother, Joe Hollis, Jr.
Surviving are her husband Jack L. Riley, whom she married on February 2, 1961; five children, Diana McCracken, Jackie Ferguson, Beverly Kalagian, Lisa Kiefer and Jeanette Riley; 20 grandchildren, Tom Reed, Donnie McCracken, Danielle McCracken, Kaleigha Kiefer, Amari Kiefer, Stephen Kracht, Ayron Kracht, Kyron Kracht, Keisha Kracht, Tiffany Dunn, Ashley Riley, Zechariah Kalagian, Richard Kalagian, Jack Kalagian, Erin Kiefer, Doris Kiefer, Ervin Kalagian, Eric Kalagian, Neola Kalagian, and Winter Racine; many great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law, Gary Casey, and Michael Kemper; and two step-brothers, Kenneth Hollis and Tony Hollis.
