Mrs. Phillips was quite an inspiration to the music community through her many years of work at B&G Music House, Belleville, IL. After retirement, she and her husband Raymond established the Hickory Hut BBQ, Belleville, IL, which they owned and operated for 18 years. Dorothy was known for her many famous recipes. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer E. and Florence I., nee Wilbert, Schroeder.
Surviving are her husband, Raymond E. Phillips of Belleville, IL;
two daughters, Judith (Vince) Bemowski of Swansea, IL,
and Kathleen Kehrer of Belleville, IL;
two sons, Douglas Phillips of Swansea, IL,
and Lawrence (Cindy) Phillips of Belleville, IL;
nine grandchildren, Stephen (Linda) Hickey, Thomas (Katie) Hickey, Joseph Hickey,
Anna Kehrer, Samuel Kehrer, Scott Phillips, Cameron Phillips, Molly (Ryan) Fassbinder,
and Cassie (Joe) Hill;
and eight great-grandchildren, Miranda, Madelyn, and Malaina Hickey, Charlie Hickey, Jake and Alyssa Phillips, and Morgan and Grace Fassbinder.

Funeral: Private family services will be held Friday, November 13, 2015, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
