Harley and I are so sorry we didn’t know about Earlene’s passing. She was a wonderful friend and longtime neighbor before she moved to be closer to family. We will truly miss her lovely smile and laughter. And I will especially miss hearing her ask me, “What book are you reading?”

It was a pleasure to be a part of the Whobrey family in my younger years. Earlene was a reasoning voice in some of my difficult days. She gave wonderful dinner parties and loved her family. My deepest sympathies to Elizabeth, and her family, as well as the beautiful Whobrey's that will continue their lives until they are joined once again in glory.
