Mr. LePes worked as a mechanic for Rowan Tire for many years. He was a real outdoorsman and loved fishing and camping. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars and spending time with friends. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, James LePes.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Debra “Debbie”, nee Rust, LePes, whom he married on August 17, 1997; four children, Eddie LePes Jr. of Campbell Hill, IL, Erik LePes of Swansea, IL, Stephanie Whittaker of Sparta, IL, and Jessica LePes of Sparta, IL; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his mother, Bobbie, nee Burrows, LePes of Lenzburg, IL; three brothers, Jimmy LePes of Lenzburg, IL, Ronnie (Rumi) LePes of Tuscon, AZ, and Kevin LePes of Belleville, IL; and nieces and nephews.
