He was an accountant, retired from McCarthy Building Companies. He graduated from Belleville East High School in 1977, earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from New York University, and earned a Master’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of South Carolina. He marveled at the beauty of nature and extraordinary experiences, and cherished family and friends.
Edwin was preceded in death by his father, Ray Edwin McCann.
He is survived by his children, Marisa McCann and Ray McCann of South Carolina;
his mother Jean, nee Shorter, McCann;
his siblings, Stephanie, Phillip, and Julia;
and extended family members.
