I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of taking care of Elbert a few times while he was in the hospital and he is someone I will never forget. He had the biggest heart and sweetest smile. When he spoke of his family and grandkids his eyes would light up. My thoughts are prayers are with you all.

Today is going to be the hardest day of my life. To look at you one last time, to hold your hand one last time on this earth. To never see you in person is breaking my heart. I love you forever. Jase will never forget his PopPop. I know your are at peace. In your perfect eternity with God.

I will miss Uncle Jr's sense of humor the most! His love and devotion to his family will always be remembered in his acts of kindness, and in our hearts and memories. The girls and I will never forget what he did for us. Because of him and Aunt Donna we are safe and happy!! I wish we could be there. He was a wonderful uncle to me and the best ever great-uncle to my girls! Love and miss you always!!

So sorry to hear about Elbert. We had many adventures as teenagers. Knew the whole family, went to school with Mary. But life with its many twists and turns I moved away and lost contact with him. Its as if I lost a family member

I am so sorry for your loss and will continue to keep you in my daily prayers. I have fond memories of Elbert when we were kids running around St. Rose and St. Lambert. I remember he was always just a nice guy that was liked by everyone. I will have a mass said in his name at Our Lady of the Snows.
