Mr. Minemann was a Chemist for Carboline Company for 14 years before his retirement. Elmer was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, and a member of both the Men’s Club, and the Young at Heart Club at church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer J. and Vlasta, nee Soukup, Minemann; and a sister, Audrey Lee (Al) Dori; two brothers-in-law, Ronald L. Arpin and Anthony C. Buss; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anthony H. and Amanda E. Buss.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Patricia C., nee Buss, Minemann, whom he married on June 12, 1970;
two sons, Jeffrey W. Minemann of Collinsville, IL,
and Mark T. Minemann of Belleville, IL;
sister-in-law, Jeannine E. Arpin;
brother-in-law, Thomas W. (Sharon) Buss;
and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, and from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Bellville, IL.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Fr. James Thomas officiating.
Burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL
