Ethel worked as a clerk for the St. Clair County Treasurer’s Office until 1990. After her retirement, her absolute pride and joy was taking care of her two granddaughters throughout their youth. She also enjoyed her time working in the cafeteria at both Freeburg Primary Center and Freeburg Grade School.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Leroy Weber, whom she married July 20, 1952, and who died October 14, 2010; her parents, Martin O. and Alma K., nee Funk, Reinneck; four brothers, Allen Reinneck, Oscar (Arlene) Reinneck, Robert Reinneck, and Vernon Reinneck; and a brother-in-law, Howard Martin.
Surviving are her son, Michael (Cathy Chaput) Weber of Freeburg, IL;
her daughter, Sheri (Allen) Switala of Smithton, IL;
two granddaughters, Lindsey (Ryan Jones) Niebruegge and Lacy Niebruegge;
a great-grandson, Hunter Jones;
a sister, Shirley Martin;
three sisters-in-law, Phyllis Reinneck, Norma Reinneck, and Carolyn Reinneck;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Freeburg, IL, with Rev. Darrell Weber officiating.
Burial will be held at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Freeburg, IL.
