Dear Lee, I saw Eva's obit in the paper this morning. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't send email from my computer now. I moved to a new apartment this Nov. and my computer hasn't worked correctly since. As soon as I get a new one, I'll try to email you again. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Aunt Yuvonne was a lady who overcame challenges in her youth and throughout her life. Yvonne was just seven when her mother died; and as a teenager, Yuvonne was challenged by spinal meningitis and tuberculosis. She spent six years in a sanatorium; but her desire to serve others, led her to study and become a tuberculosis nurse...In 1954, she married Leroy Philipp, and her life as a military wife began. I'm sure she was able to identify with today's military spouse...but for Yuvonne, she waited and worked while Lee was in the Air Force serving in Korea and Vietnam,,,Yuvonne did not have children of her own, but she was a mother figure to many, including her niece, Carolyn Hardgrave Lederer and her nephew, Tom Hardgrave...In later years, Yuvonne was a caregiver for Lee's mother. This week..our family celebrates Aunt Yuvonne's life of service and love...Tom, Charlotte, Chris and Sara
