
Mrs. Kreher was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL, and was the assistant supervisor for the Freeburg Township. Her hobbies were gardening and baking. Evelyn’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her proudest accomplishment. The most precious time for her was spending time on the farm with her husband Joseph Sr.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph C. Kreher Sr., whom she married on April 4, 1956, and who died on December 3, 2019; a son, Edward L. Kreher; her parents, Louis and Stella Kehrer, nee Curry; five sisters, Ethel Keller, June Pratt, Irma Hankammer, Stella Kehrer, and Florence Voegele; and five brothers, Louis, Edward, Russell, Robert, and Herman Kehrer.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Jr. (Patti) Kreher and Kenneth (Lori) Kreher, both of Freeburg, IL; a daughter-in-law, Betty Kreher; seven grandchildren, Eric (Stacey) Kreher, Brian (Catherine) Kreher, Julia (Scott) Baltz, Daniel J. Kreher, Dr. Kelli Kreher Rocco (Andrew Rocco), Amy (Scott) Crean, and Blake Kreher; eight great-grandchildren, Avery, Hudson, and Brock Baltz, Edward Kreher, Louis and Hattie Jo Crean, and Harper and Emery Kreher; two sisters, Pearl (Rod) Rodriguez and Joyce Massmann; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral: A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL, due to COVID restrictions.
Burial will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Freeburg, IL.
