Mrs. Carr was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, George O. Carr, whom she married on February 3, 1967, and who died on November 24, 1998; her parents, John and Maryanna, nee Gajda, Malec; three brothers, Thaddeaus, Z. John and Fr. Raymund Malec; two brothers in infancy; and three sisters, her twin sister, Virginia Malec, Jeanette Majewski, and Pellagia Beckfeld.
Surviving are a sister, Irene Vornbaum of Swansea, IL;
her husband’s seven loved and loving grandchildren;
and 20 nieces and nephews and their families.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2015, at Blessed Sacrament Church, with Fr. Matt Elie officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
