Mrs. Shadewaldt was an artist. She was a former and very active member of Faith Methodist Church in Polo, IL. Frances was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James P. Shadewaldt, whom she married on February 12, 1945, in London, England, and who died on November 15, 2011; her parents, Albert John Edward and Alice, nee Pavey, Gale; and a brother, Albert Gale.
Surviving are her daughter, Gail (Jim) Brueggeman of Fairview Heights, IL;
two grandchildren, Julie (Craig) Dumstorff,
and Jeff (Robyn) Brueggeman;
and four great-grandchildren, Jared and Carson Dumstorff,
and Lillian and Landon Brueggeman.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Cari Frus officiating.
Visitation: Friends may call following the service from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, IL.
