I’m so sorry to hear of Gaty’s passing; he was fine man and great friend. We were teammates on BTHS West’s first ever district championship cross-country team. We also won conference and county champs. Gary won conference our junior and senior years. In recent years, we had re-established contact on line, and it was always a joy to hear from him. He couldn’t make our last class reunion, but sent special greetings to me at the event via ac classmate. I also appreciated his military service and good nature. My deepest condolences to all his family and friends. I’m very sad to lose such a good guy. Ron Knecht
