Gary Paul Kramer, 66, of Lenzburg, IL, born October 6, 1951, in Perryville, MO, died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Kramer worked as a bricklayer and was a member of the Bricklayers Union Local #8 for many years before his retirement. He worked as an usher for the St. Louis Blues and the St. Louis Cardinals following his retirement. An avid fisherman, he participated in many bass fishing club tournaments. He also enjoyed hunting and took part in the annual Sesser-Valier Outdoorsmen deer hunt for more than 20 years. Gary was a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church, New Athens, IL, and the New Athens Knights of Columbus Council. He was a U. S. Army Vietnam War veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Lucille, nee Meyer, Kramer; a brother-in law, Kenneth Waller; a sister-in-law, Nancy Kramer; two nephews, Greg Sarmiento and Seth Weiser; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Pauline Brisk.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Loretta, nee Brisk, Kramer, whom he married on August 11, 1984;
a daughter, Jennifer (David) Ott of Belleville, IL;
a sister, Linda (David) Vallina of St. Louis, MO;
a brother, Dale (Becky) Kramer of O’Fallon, IL;
and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John Brisk of Belleville, IL;
Paula Waller of Freeburg, IL,
Dolores Brisk of Fayetteville, IL,
Dorothy Sarmiento (fiancé of Jim Flannigan) of Belleville, IL,
Ralph (Theresa) Brisk of Fayetteville, IL,
and Margaret (Steve) Wienstroer of Belleville, IL;
and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, New Athens, IL, with Fr. Mark Reyling officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
