Mr. Loeffler was a retired carpenter. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and mushroom hunter. Gary loved the outdoors and gardening. As much as he liked growing his various vegetables, he also loved his flowers. He was not a very materialistic person and the things he acquired over the years, he cherished very much. Gary will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Elizabeth, nee Mueller, Loeffler; and a brother, Robert Loeffler.
Surviving are his sister, Sandy Loeffler of Belleville, IL; three children, Carlene Loeffler of Mascoutah, IL, Nathan (Mikki) Loeffler of Belleville, IL, and Leah (Mark) Boland of Belleville, IL; three grandchildren, Hunter and Logan Loeffler, and Lucy Boland; and many cousins and friends.
