Mrs. Jung was a retired nurse’s aide. She had also worked as a claims recorder with Country Companies Insurance.
Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Josephine, nee Woltering, Dumstorff; two brothers, Richard Dumstorff and Gerald Dumstorff; and three sisters, Dorothy Davis, Florence Dumstorff, and Kathy Dumstorff; and a son-in-law, Kent Heidenreich.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Robert A. Jung, whom she married on May 21, 1949;
three daughters, Donna (Warren) Schenewerk of Freeburg, IL,
Beverly (William) Fronterhouse of Fairbanks, AK,
and Elaine Heidenreich of Freeburg, IL;
four grandchildren, Dr. Christopher Schenewerk, Brian Schenewerk,
Lucas Heidenreich, and Madelaine Heidenreich;
two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Ryan Schenewerk;
four brothers, Virgil Dumstorff, Clarence Dumstorff,
Orville Dumstorff, and Dennis Dumstorff;
two sisters, Bernice Heilmann and Eileen Cooper;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL, with Fr. James Nall officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Freeburg, IL.
