Mr. Eros was a sacristan at The Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, Belleville, IL, for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George E. and Mathilda T., nee Fellner, Eros.
Surviving are his sister, Mary K. Eros of Belleville, IL;
an uncle, Dennis Wilson of Belleville, IL;
and cousins.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, IL, with Fr. Christopher Anyanwu and Msgr. William McGhee concelebrating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
