Mr. Freeman was an Insurance District Sales Manager for Miller’s First Insurance Company before his retirement. He was a past director for the Beverage Association, and was a Certified Insurance Counselor.
George was preceded in death by one daughter, Kerri Michele; his parents, George W. Sr. and Nellie, nee Holt, Freeman; and a brother, Roy Freeman.
Surviving are two sons, Shane Freeman of Belleville, IL,
and Dustin (Julie) Freeman of Barnhart, MO;
one daughter, Sandra Freeman of McDonough, GA;
one grandson, “Junior” Jones;
a brother, Keith (Janet) Freeman of Belleville, IL;
and nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Hal Santos officiating.
Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
