I'm sorry for your loss Mary. George was a very nice gentleman, I always saw him outside cutting his grass. He always said, "hi how are you doing today!" He will be sadly missed.

To the family of George Timmings It is with great sadness to learn of George’s passing. He was a classmate through high school and teammate in high school basketball. Knew he and his parents well and express my sincere condolences. George was a reserved and soft spoken person and talented athlete. I remember to this date that we wore 20 lb weight jackets through basketball practice as a strengthening drill only to learn George has taken the weights out and stuffed the pockets with cotton. We only regretted we hadn’t thought of doing the same. He had great sense of humor.

Have known George since we were kids growing up in Lincolnwood and at Niles West High School. Hadn't seen him in years until a high school reunion, 3 years ago. All around great person, funny, kind, and caring. He will be missed. May his memory and good name always be a blessing. My deepest condolences to Mary and the entire family.

My condolences to all of George's family and friends. Went to grammar school, high school and were roommates at Arizona State University our freshman year of college before he transferred. A great, friendly guy. Great memories.
