Harold E. Elliott Sr., 78, of Belleville, IL, born August 16, 1937, in Portland, MN, died Saturday, August 13, 2016, at his residence.

Mr. Elliott worked for Dickerson Petroleum before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. Sr. and Belva P., nee Taylor, Elliott.

Surviving are his wife of nearly 60 years, Mary Rose M., nee Schaeffer, Elliott, whom he married on August 18, 1956;
two daughters, Mary Ellen (Joseph) Klug of Florissant, MO,
and Jana (Ted) Horn of St. Libory, IL;
two sons, Mark (Stacy) Elliott of St. Elmo, IL,
and Harold Jr. (Cathy) Elliott of Ste. Genevieve, MO;
four grandchildren, Kimberly (Brian) Donovan,
Zachary (Amanda) Horn,
Joseph Horn,
and Hannah Elliott;
and two great-grandchildren, Adalynn Elliott and Shalynn Rose Donovan.
