Mr. Dobler enjoyed fishing, golfing, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris C., nee Magnuson, Dobler; a sister, Florence Boone; and a brother, Kenneth Dobler.
Surviving are his son, Matt (Mandy) Dobler of St. Libory, IL;
his daughter, Michele (Edward) Mehrhoff of House Springs, MO;
four grandchildren, Clayton and Brooke Dobler,
and Darren and Ramon Mehrhoff;
a brother, Robert (Shirley) Dobler of Granite City, IL;
six sisters, Dorothy Hicks of Buffalo, MO,
Mary Boyle of Collinsville, IL,
Rosalie (Bob) Nations of Fairview Heights, IL,
Sue (Harold) Ketterer of Freeburg, IL,
Marg (Melvin) Callico of Highland, IL,
and Debbie Dobler of Belleville, IL;
and many nieces and nephews.
