Retired USAF Tech Sergeant Harry McCloy Jr., 71, of Belleville, IL, born August 21, 1945, in New Lexington, OH, died Sunday, October 9, 2016, at his residence.

Mr. McCloy was a devoted grandfather.  He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye football fan and a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.  Harry was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Sr. and Imogene, nee Valentine, McCloy.

Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Juanita M., nee Ortega, McCloy, whom he married on August 10, 1973;
one son, Jason (Jane) Cleary of England;
two daughters, Lisa (Richard) Goddard of Sparta, IL,
and Kelly (Matt) Brown of New Baden, IL;
eight grandchildren, Georgia and Max Cleary,
Cody and Allisanne Hummert,
Nicholas Goddard,
and Josh, Billi, and Alex Brown;
two brothers, Richard McCloy and Jim McCloy;
and four sisters, Linda Shiplett,
Estella Riley,
Judith Kay Randolph,
and Leona Winegardner.

Visitation:  Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016, and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Renner Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral procession will leave at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016, for a 10:30 a.m. graveside service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
