We just found out about Mike’s passing. Mike was our cat sitter for years. His caring and calm ways made him a great cat sitter and we never had to worry about our cats when we went out of town. Our sympathy to his family especially his son and family whom he was very proud of. We have made a donation in his name to the USO.

Mike was one of the most gentle souls in the 932 AES and to anyone else he met along the way. I had the privilege of knowing Mike for over 25 years as an extended family member in the 73rd and 932 AES. I could count on him always. He will be missed by many myself included.

Had the privilege of flying with Mike while assigned yo the 57th AES and then the 932nd AES. His easygoing but professional attitude made it a joy to fly with him, no matter what we faced. RIP

So many good times I shared with Mike flying together with the 9th AES, Yokota AB, Japan. He was an outstanding Instructor for my C-141 training & most of all, a very good friend. I am with a heavy heart to learn of Mike's passing but I also know that we will all see each other again in heaven. My deepest sympathy & prayers goes out to Mike's family & friends.

Mike was THE best of 932 AES professionals, and a day flying an "air evac" mission with Mike Rader was sure to be a great day. Mike was professional, calm, and downright hilarious with his sense of humor. I will greatly miss him and his gentle soul. Hope you got to fly tail 932 all the way to Heaven, Mikey!
