
Irene was a homemaker and retired. She was a ball of energy and loved life. Her infectious smile made all feel welcomed. In the early years, she and her husband built and renovated their homes, adding her flair in home decorating and making each room a showcase. In her spare time, she was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. Many remarked on how beautiful her yard was during flower season.
With her love of dance, she became a member and was on the board of M.U.S.I.C Swing Dance Club where she met and cultivated many friendships.
She loved life, especially her family, and she was so proud of her kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Joseph F. Daniels, Jr., who died on August 9, 1984; her parents, John and Marjorie, nee Mansker, Mischke; her father-in-law and mother in-law, Joseph and Margaret, nee Hyde, Daniels; and a brother-in-law, Michael Rendine.
Surviving are a son, Thomas (Beth) Daniels; a daughter, Marjorie (Dawn Grafeman) Daniels; two grandchildren, Craig (Marisa) Daniels, and Jonathan (Rachel) Daniels; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt Daniels, Bryce Daniels, Chayce Daniels, and Harper Daniels; her twin sister and best friend, Eileen Rendine; her faithful companion, Scooter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. Standard CDC guidelines, including masks and social distancing, will be observed.
Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. August 28. 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Deacon Corby Valentine officiating.
Burial will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL, at a later date.
