I worked indirectly with Jack at BJC. I had not heard of his passing until I went diving this weekend and asked about him. The response I received was one of fondness. It's obvious that he's still missed at Mermett.

Peggy and family my heart is breaking at the news about Jacks passing. When we were growing up going to the Harris Reunion every year, playing on the playgrounds, laughing and running are some of the best memories I have and will always cherish. The very best memory is when you and I were little and we went on a picnic to Brown-county with Aunt Carolyn and Uncle John in their beautiful convertible. We got to stop along the way a we each were allowed to get our own big bottle of pop. Boy did we ever think we were hot stuff. I Love the life of adventure you and Peggy had and all the traveling you were able to enjoy together. Memories Peggy will hold dear to her heart. And what a wonderful Dad and Grandpa you were. Your family loves you so much You will be missed so much by everyone. Fly high Jack until we are all together once again. I Love you cuz. ❤️

My Condolences. I worked with Jack at BJC for most of his time there. Jack was someone who you always knew where you stood. Being prior military, I appreciated that and found Jack to be someone who was always available to offer valuable advice, mentoring and or guidance when needed. I always enjoyed hearing Jack’s diving stories and knew just on discussing it aside from Peggy and his family, it was something he truly loved and was his true passion. Again, my condolences to Peggy and the family. Tim & Terri Ann Gore

I worked side by side with Jack back at the turn of the century and being a fellow military retiree and veteran we had a lot of things in common. I will remember Jack and those days fondly. My wife Linda and I send our deepest condolences to Peggy and the rest of their family and friends.
