Jacqueline M. Gomric, 87, of Belleville, IL, born January 30, 1934, in St. Louis, MO, died on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, IL.
Jacqueline was a loving housewife, mother, and grandmother. She loved children and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 66 years, Martin Gomric, whom she married on April 11, 1953, and who died on March 8, 2019; her father, Emmett Molen; her mother and stepfather, Ellen M., nee Morris, and Alan Morgan; and an uncle, Raymond Morris.
Surviving are three children, Kathleen Marie Gomric, Michael Paul (Karen) Gomric, and Kristine Frances (Michael) Cox; nine grandchildren, Amanda Marie, nee Bellmann, (Kevin) Lyle, Patrick Louis Bellmann, Zachary M. Gomric, Nicole E. Gomric, Paul A. Gomric, Mary Kathleen Gomric, Joshua Michael (Tammy) Cox Jeremy Martin Cox and Private Kassandra Kristine Katie Cox; five great-grandchildren, Mariska Anastasia Marie Lyle, Parker Christopher Chase Lyle, Aiden J. Cox, Jolene L. Cox, and Lachlan A. Cox; and two cousins, Jean Guenther and Judy (Kenneth) Besancenez.
Memorials may be made in the form of masses. Condolences may be expressed to the family online.
Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Father James Thomas officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville IL.
