Jimmy loved his family fervently, and especially loved his son, Alex, more than he could ever express. He also loved his dogs and their unconditional companionship. Jimmy was an expert carpenter for over 15 years. He took pride in his work and helping his clients’ houses feel like home. Jimmy delighted in being outdoors; fishing, camping, floating on a river, and sitting next to a bonfire. He loved woodworking and could fix anything. Jimmy loved God and would attend church often. Jimmy’s heart was to love and be loved by the ones he held dearest. He overcame so much in his 38 years of life. Jimmy fought hard every day to become a better man for himself and for the people he loved. His memory will be held close to everyone’s heart. He was always silly and goofy and was determined to place a smile on everyone’s face. Jimmy will be continually celebrated as the good man his family knew him to be.
He is survived by a son, Alexander Martin; his mother, Barbara, nee Drennan, (David) Boyland; his father, James Sr., (Denise) Forbus; a sister, Ashley, nee Forbus, Harbison; and five brothers, Jacob Forbus, Jessie Forbus, Rodney Malady, Richard Malady, and Philip Boyland.
