James Zellmer

James R. “Jim” Zellmer, 75, was born August 27, 1946, to Edwin and Helen, Loesch, Zellmer at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, IL. He has a son, Tim, who lives in Jefferson, Indiana. Jim and his wife, Kay, have lived in St. Louis for the last 26 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin A., and Helen, Loesch, Zellmer.

Jim was in the last graduating class at Cathedral High School in Belleville. He attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and received his Bachelor’s Degree.

During his working career he worked for Hunter Packing Company, 7-UP, ArJo BBQ, Eagle Snacks, and Earth-Grain / Sara Lee Bread Company, where he retired.

Visitation:  Friends may visit from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Doug Stewart officiating.

Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
