Mrs. Dahm was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Belleville, IL. She had worked as a secretary for the St. Clair County Mental Health Association, had been past president of the board of directors of the Belleville Mental Health Center, and the first president of the board of directors of the Children’s Center for Behavioral Development, East St. Louis, IL. Mrs. Dahm had also served as co-chairman of the Red Cross volunteers for St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and worked as a volunteer in the hospital for twenty years. She was an avid bridge player who played until age 95.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Joseph Dahm, Jr.; her parents, E.W. and Irma F., nee Immenhausen, Tiedemann; two sisters, Barbara (Daniel) Jett and Anne (William) Thomas; and two great-grandchildren, Steffan D. Mosher and Audrey C.M. vanUffelen.
Surviving are two children, James E. (Jean) Dahm, Sr. of Belleville, IL, and Mary C. (Jack) Drummond of Albers, IL; six grandchildren, Steve M. Drummond of Belleville, IL, Jane C. (Lowell Pearson) Drummond of Columbia, MO, Elissa J. (Ross) Karbarski of Swansea, IL, Erica L. (Jeff) Calog of Morrison, CO, Elizabeth A. (Thomas) vanUffelen of Belleville, IL, and James E. Dahm, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; four great-grandchildren, Cameron S. Mosher, Gabrielle A. (Froylan Flores) Mosher, Ian J.B. Mosher, and Anja S.M. vanUffelen; and three great-great-grandchildren, Luna E.A., Lilith C.I., and Logan X. Flores.
