Janice attended the Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville, IL and was active in many deaf organizations and churches throughout her life. She was a housewife and sold Tupperware. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her great-niece, Sophia.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Roger A. Klaus, whom she married on May 2, 1974, and who died on January 15, 2008; and her parents, Everett and Jeanette, nee Voland, Wiget.
She is survived by a sister, Betty Higgerson; a niece, Nichol (Anthony) DelGiorno; and a great niece, Sophia DelGiorno.
