Janis Kay King, nee Brueggemann, 72, of Freeburg, IL, born September 1, 1947, in Seattle, WA, died Thursday, September 12, 2019, at her residence, in Anna, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Vernell, nee Friederich, Brueggemann; a granddaughter, Gabrielle Lynn; a brother, Steven Brueggemann; and a sister, Marsha (Norman) King.

She is survived by two sons, Fred King and James King;
a daughter, Terri Tate;
two grandchildren, Corbin and Mila King;
a nephew, Brandon (Heather) Brueggemann;
four nieces, Lisa King, Cathy (Kent) Hoerchler,
Julie (Jason) Lautz and Laurie (David) Sebol;
great-nieces and great-nephews, Samantha King,
Tyler and Kyle Hoerchler, Danielle and Spencer Lautz,
and Andrew and Emily Sebol;
and many other great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Terri Tate, or to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at the Freeburg Township Hall, Freeburg, IL.
