Jared enjoyed sports, especially football and baseball. He loved a good barbeque and picnics with his family. He appreciated the great outdoors while camping and fishing and was always ready to travel. Jared also enjoyed his grandmother’s home-cooked meals and quiet visits at her home.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jesse Aguilar; his paternal grandparents, Otto and Gertrude Speichinger; and his best friend and soul brother, Gary Lee Mollet LCPL USMC.
He is survived by two children, Kristin R. Speichinger, and Logan S. Speichinger;
his father, Stanley O. Speichinger;
his mother, Diane (Stephen) Hurst;
a brother, David F. (Lexi) Hagelstein;
two sisters, Elizabeth (Walter) Bonser, and Nicole (George) Biehl;
stepsisters, Angie (Ron) Burns, Sonya (Sean) Unverzagt, Nikki (Chris) Marsh, and Amanda Hurst;
nieces, Crystal Dahm, Jesse Ann Lynn, Sabrina Burns, Mya Burns, and Jovie Marsh;
nephews, Wyatt Biehl, Levi Unverzagt, Jackson Marsh, and Oliver Biehl, due in October;
his maternal grandmother, Barbara Aguilar;
numerous aunts and uncles;
and cousins.
Jared lived his life on his own terms, enjoying time with friends and family. He loved his children dearly and always enjoyed their company. He was always ready to help others; be it car repairs, home repairs, or providing food and shelter to those who needed it. He will be remembered for his big heart and kindness to others.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. Standard CDC guidelines will be followed, including masks and social distancing.
Funeral: A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at the funeral home.
Cremation services will follow.
