Jean E. Morgan, nee Forayt, 87, of Belleville, IL, born December 1, 1933, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, September 27, 2021, at Four Fountains Convalescent Center, Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Morgan worked as a secretary at Scott Air Force Base, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles D. Morgan, whom she married on July 23, 1960, and who died on November 6, 2006; her parents, Jerry and Bessie, nee Hrdlicka, Forayt; a brother, Adolph (Irene) Forayt; two sisters, Rosemary (Walter) Gausepohl and Georgia (Ralph) Luechtefeld; a brother-in-law, Wayvo “Chic” Morgan; a nephew, Mike Morgan; and a niece, Christine Treadway.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Maude Morgan;
nieces and nephews, Shari (Ray) Steege, Mark (Karen) Luechtefeld, Kevin Luechtefeld, Pam (Bruce) Heape, Stacy (Anthony) Lupo, and Mike Treadway;
great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may visit from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. Standard CDC guidelines, including masks and social distancing will be observed.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. John Myler officiating.

Entombment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Mausoleum, Belleville, IL.

Kevin L, Mark, Karen & Kara L & Shari & Ray Steege n family. And chucks side of the family who i didnt know. I'm sorry for your loss Jean was a gem! I'll always remember when I took her to the beauty shop n grocery stores when she was no longer able to drive. We always had a good time. I just came across her obituary this morning. And I was shocked. But she's with Chuck n Aunt Rose, Uncle Wally, Georgia & Ralph. May she Rest In Peace!! Love Always, Kathy
