Jerry L. Hubbard, 80, of Freeburg, IL, born August 18, 1940, in East Prairie, MO, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

Jerry was a diesel mechanic and retired from Cummings Diesel.  He enjoyed hanging out with his friends at Lucky Joe’s and driving his scooter around the town. He loved western movies, crossword puzzles, and especially visiting his family in Sikeston, MO.  Jerry was a United States Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lulene, nee Pruett, Hubbard; and his siblings, Iva Bea, Laverne “Reddy” and T.J.

Surviving are his children, Geri (Jeff) Worley, Kenny (Julie) Hubbard, and Kevin Hubbard;
seven grandchildren, Sarah Wellen, Laura Bogard, Shaundra Milefakovski, Brock Thrift, and Michael, Beverly, and Savannah Schwarz;
11 great-grandchildren;
and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may visit from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Freeburg, IL.

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO, at a later date.

Miss you grampa. Everyone misses you. You didn't live a spectacular life, you just lived it the way you wanted it. I'll forever be grateful to be apart of this mess you were apart of. You never know how much you miss someone until theyre gone.
