Lester James “Jim” Hunter, 68, of Belleville, IL, born January 8, 1948, in Ogdensburg, NY, died Friday, October 7, 2016, at his residence.

Mr. Hunter was a Senior Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester L. and Frances Barbara, nee Scoffield, Hunter; and one sister, Barbara Snow.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret F., nee McGruddy, Hunter;
Brenda (Martin) McLoone of Ireland,
Savannah, Ciara, Dejan , Maeveann, and Patrick.

Memorials may be made to HSHS Hospice, in the form of Masses, or to the American Cancer Society.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Belleville, IL with Msgr. John Myler officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO
