Joan M. McGuire, nee Grantman, 92, of Freeburg, IL, born April 6, 1923, in Rochester, NY, died Sunday, July 26, 2015, at Cedarhurst in Shiloh, IL.

Mrs. McGuire was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James H. McGuire, whom she married on March 9, 1946, and who died on September 28, 2000; her parents, Claude and Gladis, nee Wood, Grantman; two brothers, Robert and Edward Grantman; a sister, Mildred Campbell; and a granddaughter, Brandlynn Reel.

Surviving are a son and two daughters, James (Edith) McGuire of Noblesville, IN,
Maureen (Robert) Lama of Mount Vernon, WA,
and Kathleen (Joe) Reel of Freeburg, IL;
nine grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren;
and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation: Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Freeburg, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Freeburg, IL, with Fr. James Deiters officiating.
