For the family to lose both Joan &Ken within a 2yr period is certainly devastating. I only visited with Joan at several class of 1962 (Wesclin) reunions when she always came with Ken. She last attended on July 23, 2022, when she came alone to Trenton. After I spoke about Ken, then she added touching and sincere remarks of her own. What great & dedicated wife she was. I'm very sorry for your family's loss. Ron Becker Wesclin class 1962

Joan and I were great friends at Wesclin since 7th grade--she was funny, full of energy, and smart. She was a wonderful athlete but also a "lady." We had so many memorable slumber parties and hilarious school adventures, including the speech and debate tournaments where she of course excelled. I am confident she was an exemplary teacher and know she loved her family life--it was a privilege to have been her friend.
