JoAnn was a graduate of O’Fallon Township High School class of 1957. She worked as a physical therapy assistant for 15 years. JoAnn was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Freeburg, IL. She raised six children and was very active in her kids’ lives. JoAnn enjoyed attending their sporting events and spending weekends at the lake house.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 46 years, Clyde Pruett, whom she married on July 13, 1957 in Corinth, MS, and who died on May 1, 2003; a son, Daniel L. Pruett; and her parents, Rofield and Sylvia, nee Schuster, Foster; a brother, Stephen Foster; a sister, Dona Lee (Walter) Monroe; and a daughter-in-law, Sally Pruett.
Surviving are three sons, Mark S. Pruett of Mascoutah, IL, Todd A. (Mary Lou) Pruett of Belleville, IL, and Timothy W. (Leslie) Pruett of Freeburg, IL;
two daughters, Shelly K. (Lonnie) Mudd of Carterville, IL, and Amy L. (Rich) LeFebvre of Glendale, AZ;
13 grandchildren, Ben (Molly) Mudd, Ashley (Jason) Totten, Bryan (Heather) Ford, Terry (Nichole) Pruett, Levi (Lydia) Mudd,Lori Pruett, Todd Pruett, Carrie Pruett, Abraham (fiancée Kailey Ackerman) Pruett,Sam Pruett, Erin (friend Slade Downing) Pruett, Joseph Pruett,and Jacob Pruett;three great-grandchildren, Brooke Ford, Michael Totten, and Cora Pruett;a brother, Ronald (Michelle) Foster of Chicago, IL;and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or to Freeburg Community High School District 77 Foundation to continue a scholarship in JoAnn and Clyde’s name. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Freeburg, IL, with Rev. Earl Crecelius officiating.
Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery, Freeburg, IL.
