Condolences Left For John E. Richardson Sr.

Dear Mrs. Richardson, Fr. James and the rest of the family. I felt very heartbroken for all of you when I was notified that your dad had died. I was hearbroken because I know the immediate sense of grief you feel when a loved one leaves our world and passes on to the next. You all and I know he is in a better place, and it really isn’t for him that we grieve. It is for us. Knowing he is gone from our lifetime now. We know someday we will be reunited, but until then, a piece of our heart is gone, and we often feel that piece being ripped away. You have been so blessed to have such a wonderful man as the head of your household. Be thankful for that. I pray for peace to be with you in between those times of feeling the loss.
God Bless you!

Little did we know, Marcia, that our last ND luncheon together would be the last time we would see John preside over the “B team.”
We all know that all things occur in God’s time and not ours, and He decided that He had shared this good and holy man with the world long enough.
My sincere sympathy to you and all the J.E.’s on this all too sudden loss.
John’s kind and gentle manner and wonderful smile will always be remembered.
May God sustain you all in this difficult time.
