John Anthony Kerkemeyer, 46, of Belleville, IL, born January 8, 1969, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, August 21, 2015, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

John had worked for Parrish Trucking in Freeburg, IL.  He enjoyed fishing and was a talented artisan, woodworker, and craftsman.  His greatest joy was his children, whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret M., nee Imming, Kerkemeyer.

Surviving are his children, Jakob and Kayleigh Kerkemeyer, both of Belleville, IL;
his father, Paul H. Kerkemeyer of Belleville, IL;
three sisters, Karen (David) Meehan of Waterloo, IL,
Debbie (Chris) Monks of Chesterfield, MO,
and Lynn (Tom) Wilkes of Ballwin, MO;
and six nieces and nephews, Chloe and Connor Meehan, Carter and Ethan Monks,
and Cameron and Ryan Wilkes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Holly Wood officiating.  Private family burial will be held at a later date.
