He graduated from Belleville Township High School in 1951 and then attended Princeton University for 2 years before being drafted into the Korean War, serving in Labrador. After he returned he graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. On March 14, 1953, he married Faye M. Quirk.
He was a devoted husband and father, friend, advisor and businessman. His family was a priority and he enjoyed spending time with them.
He is preceded in death by his wife and survived by three children, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
