John Wunderlich

Was saddened and shocked to hear that John passed away. He was an amazing friend and neighbor. I will never forget his kindness and generosity. Prayers and thoughts to your family.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to the family of John - he was a gem, a good friend and simply fun to be around. I had the good fortune to meet John through the chamber and many other organizations over the years. I am so very sorry for you all and will miss seeing John so much.

I was so very sorry to learn of John's passing. So glad we had the opportunity to catch up this fall when we ran into each other in the grocery store. Never imagined it would our last conversation. Scott and I send our sincere sympathy to John's family.

My condolences to the Wunderlich family. I was fortunate to meet Wundy at McKendree and join the BSers fraternity and have been friends since for 37 years. I always knew we were getting close to the holidays as John's Christmas card was always the first to arrive. Wundy will be missed and was a kind soul that is gone too soon.

Sincerest sympathy to all the family. I remember fondly giving John a tour of Eastern Illinois University and was happy that he enjoyed his college experience. John saw positives in all opportunities and shared caring smiles towards all. My prayers to the family and best wishes for peace in loving memories.

It broke are hearts to hear of the passing of John. He was a wonderful man with a kind heart willing to do anything for anyone no matter the circumstances. We will miss this precious soul immensely. RIP my dear friend.

I worked with John at Anheuser-Busch years ago. We were all young and starting our careers after college. He was a fun, outgoing and kind person. You will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your family's lose. John and I grew up together in St. Paul's UCC and went to HS together. He was a wonderful and thoughtful person. I never saw him without a smile on his face. Even though we only ran into one another occasionally in later years, we always reconnected as friends. He will be missed, but remembered fondly. My prayers are with your entire family. I know his family meant the world to him. God bless you during this time.

Our deepest sympathy from all the members of Concordia United Church of Christ. John had such a good heart; I remember well him spending time with his mother, Emma Lee after Al's passing. We will keep the whole family in our deepest prayers.

I am heartbroken to learn of John's passing. We lived next door to John when we were stationed at Scott AFB. We had my daughter Denton's birthday party at his pool several times - he was the master of entertainment. My kids referred to him as My John. Praying for comfort and peace.

So sorry to learn of John's passing. He was a special person and great sports fan. He opened his home to Gateway Grizzlies players as a host for many years. I know the Grizzlies organization really appreciated John's efforts. I always enjoyed my time with him. Rest well John!
