Jordan was a graduate of Belleville East High School. He excelled academically. Perhaps the only thing to do when you lose someone you loved so dearly, is to attempt to emulate that which you loved and admired about them. He was kind and had a forgiving heart. Jordan was generous in the way that he saw people. Recently, when he started working, he would take pizza, or a sub sandwich, to where he knew homeless people would be. He was incredibly smart and liked to play the game of Scrabble, where he always won. He had a special place in his heart for dogs and loved all sports. Jordan loved Christmas, the outside lights, the tree, and being with his sister on Christmas morning. The Little Drummer Boy was his forever favorite story.
He kept trying, so many times, he tried again. Even when it was painful for him to do so. That took a lot of courage and love for his family. Despite living through some hurtful and tough times, he managed to have a soft heart and a gentle spirit. In his honor, Kate and I will be kind and generous in how we see others. Grace bats last.
Love you more than all the tea in China, Mom.
