Mr. Gore was a licensed stationary engineer at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL. He loved the outdoors, including fishing, deer hunting, gardening, and camping.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Alford M. Jr. and Rosemarie, nee Schaffner, Gore; his maternal grandparents, James P. and Dorothy Schaffner; and his paternal grandparents, Alford Sr. and Helen Gore.
Surviving are his wife, Beth, nee Wade, Gore;
one daughter, Jessica Gore;
two brothers Jim (Cathy) Gore,
and Alford “Bud” (Sandy) Gore;
one sister, Ann (Brian) Denen;
his “Aunt Sis”, Winnie (Joe) Kennedy;
many other aunts and uncles;
nieces;
and nephews.
