I was shocked to see Joes obituary on Renners website when I was looking up my Moms to read it. I had a lot of good times and memories at Joe and Laurels farm back in the day when we used to play volleyball hog roasts working on cars I could go on and on. Joe and Laurel were my second family. Joes nickname for me was "puddinhead" great guy great family gone way too soon! My heart and prayers go to Laurel Ellen and family! Thanks for all the great memories! Sheri Weber Switala

So shocked and sad to hear about Joe. Laurel, Ellen and family, my heart goes out to you all. I will never forget all the good times and memories at your Freeburg farm when Ellen and our kids were small. The pony rides, volleyball games, kegs of beer, playing cards, I could go on and on. Joe was a great guy and friend.
