Judith A. Gauch, nee Dean, 74, of Millstadt, IL, born March 9, 1948, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Missouri Baptist Hospital.

Judy worked in the Emergency Room Department at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Blues fan. In her earlier years, she loved to bowl. Most of all, Judy loved her family and adored her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Lonnie Lee Gauch, whom she married on November 7, 1970, and died on December 25, 2009; her parents, Raymond E. and Dorotha E., nee Johnson, Dean; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard L. Sr. and Dorothy A., nee Daubach, Gauch.

Judy is survived by two sons, Scott Gauch,
and Todd (Amanda Shore) Gauch;
three grandchildren, Rhett, Rhegan, and Ethan Gauch;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law;
and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation:  Friends may visit from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2022, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2022, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL., with Rev. Dr. Joseph Scheets officiating.

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.

Judy was not only my co-worker she was my friend. I will always remember her, Gina, and I working together as ED Secretaries. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Judy was an amazing person. She worked with my mom Chris Gass in the ER for many years. Now my mom, Gina, and Judy ate together again. My condolences to all of you.

My sympathy to the family of Judy. I worked with her at Belleville Memorial in the ER for many years. She was kind of like our staff mom. Always had a kind word for everybody

I am sorry for the loss of a great human being ! It was a privilege to work along her in the ER ❤️ she would always bring some candy in and would give me a piece She often would brag about her grandson in college who was becoming and engineer… blessings and love to the family.
