Judy A. Bitters, nee LaCroix, 77, of Belleville, IL, born March 21, 1939, in Belleville, IL, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Bitters was a sales associate for 30 years at Sears Department Store prior to her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary, nee Grainger, LaCroix; and a granddaughter, McKenzie.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bob Bitters, whom she married on May 2, 1959;
her children, Sue (Brian) Cope,
Bob (Pam) Bitters,
Sharon (George) Papproth,
and Sandy (Dan) Stephens;
eight grandchildren, Brian and Rob Cope,
Cindy Bitters,
Chris and Ryan Papproth,
Tyler and Danielle Stephens,
and Kayla Lappe;
a sister, Marilyn Lauf;
a brother, Frank LaCroix;
two sisters-in-law, Janet Rensing,
and Joyce (Luther) Quinton;
and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at George Renner  & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. John Myler officiating.

Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
