Mrs. Dick was my first grade teacher, and I remember her fondly. She was, and always will be, one of my favorite teachers. I’m sorry for your loss, and will be thinking of you during this time of sorrow.

Christina DeBoer, Belleville, IL, 62220

I am very sorry for Julia’s family at the loss of their dear mother. Now she is reunited, though, with her beloved husband. They are such a loving and gentle couple and raised children just the same, I am sure. Your mother was always gracious in talking to me.
When my mother and I lived in St. Paul’s Apartments, we were very happy to have the friendship of your parents. Mom Jean Luehder Voss, went to Notre Dame with Julia, and, many times when we would drive down West Boulevard near your parents’ home, Mom would tell me that your mother had been her classmate. At St. Paul’s your father was so solicitous of your mother, gently pushing her, seated on her walker, to the dining room.
God bless them and their family always.

Gregory Voss, Belleville, Illinois, 62220
