June Elizabeth Frakes, 94, of Weatherford, TX, formerly of Belleville, IL, born May14, 1928, in Roseville, CA, died Friday, June 10, 2022, at Westfork Assisted Living, Weatherford, TX.
Mrs. Frakes was a was a registered nurse for Presbyterian Medical Center, Whittier, CA, and Rio Hondo College, Health Education Department, also in Whittier, CA. June loved to travel with her husband, Roy, and especially enjoyed their trips to Australia and the Panama Canal.
June was preceded in death by her loving husband of 75 years, Roy Frakes, whom she married on October 27, 1946, and who died on November 9, 2021; her parents, Dana and Genevieve Johnson; a brother, Clifford A. Cross; and her step-father, Clifford Cross.
Surviving are three daughters, Debra (Dan) Riley, Roy Lynn Seltzer, and Karen June Frakes;
seven grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Esquiline Chapel at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, Belleville, IL.
Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
