June worked at Fun Spot Skating Rink in Belleville for over 30 years where everyone called her “Mom”. June was kind-hearted and a friend to all. She made an immediate connection with people and was always there to help others in need. In her earlier years, she worked with special needs children. She lived abroad for several years and was well-traveled. June loved road trips, roller skating, and putting a smile on everyone’s face.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Lois Johnson; and three brothers, Harlan, Dwayne and Bud.
Surviving are two children, Bryant Reed of Scottsdale, AZ
and Robin Swinney of Belleville, IL;
three grandchildren, Brandon, Austyn, and Cody;
and two great-grandchildren, Brenden and Noah.
